Don’t Overlook Your Employee Storage
As companies navigate what the hybrid model looks like to them, we understand that workplace lockers are not necessarily at the top of the priority list. That said, when smart workplace lockers are part of the strategy — we have seen first hand how they can have a positive impact on the company morale, provide insight into how employees are using the space, designed to not even look like lockers, and much more.
Provide lockers for your employees to use to securely store their personal belongings when they come into the office. And in the same or different locker bank allocate lockers for the transfer of items. Such as lockers for IT departments, internal cafeteria, management to exchange sensitive or confidential physical documents.
Depending on the company's preference, the smart workplace lockers can be accessed by the employees RFID company badge, FOB, mobile credential on a smartphone or watch, or even a smartphone app. Regardless of accessing the lockers — the user will simply present their credential to the reader and the locker door will pop open for them to deposit or retrieve their belongings.
Choose to make your lockers assigned or unassigned — or have a mix of both throughout your office.
ASSIGNED LOCKERS
Assigned-use lockers are perfect for the employees that regularly come into the office. Choose how long and employee can have that assigned locker or make it indefinite.
UNASSIGNED LOCKERS
Great for less frequent employees coming into the office, or those that move around the office — unassigned lockers allow employees to pull a locker in different locations each time they are in the office.
Smart workplace lockers do not need to remind you of high school lockers — they can be designed to blend into the office environment or standout with graphic overlay or custom laminates. Also, locker size is also considered — sometimes employees need just a small locker to put their belongings and other times they need a large one to hold their parka, bike helmet, gym bag, you name it.
